Quick Information

  • Name of Startup: Knowledgehunt
  • Year Founded: 2022
  • Website: Knowledgehunt.co
  • Type of company: Internet company
  • HQ Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Startup Founders:

Tornike Phkhovelishvili – Founder

Startup one-liner:

Curated Knowledge directory that will help you elevate your Startup and avert avoidable mistakes

Problem the startup solves:

As a first-time entrepreneur, it’s unlikely you’ll know everything about running a business. A lack of knowledge can lead to avoidable mistakes that could cost your business money. But how do one search for high-value resources on this open Web where all the information is scattered, and we have no choice but to search for it a lot and learn by messing up. Google also prioritizes SEO-optimized resources over high-value ones.

We solve that by hunting and storing the knowledge, thus giving access to our readers to thousands of curated handbooks, guidebooks, reports, Twitter threads, and more.

Progress and current status:

Created MVP and launched the website. Got 30+ daily active users in the first 2 weeks.

We are adding new resources covering new sectors every day, as well as, building community through Twitter and LinkedIn.

In upcoming months, we will add tools that will help founders validate their product, get feedback and grow.

What is a crazy story about the startup?:

Idea story: As a fellow founder and VC, I was spending dozen hours on desk research to find high-value resources and answer questions – how to use social media, how to scale, how to cold e-mail, how to grow, you name it… Eventually, I got pretty good at finding hidden gems of the web somewhere in the Internet’s noise and started gathering them in the Excel file for future use.

A few weeks ago, I decided to share my directory with fellow start-up founders so that they won’t have to spend the same hours as I did – that is how Knowledgehunt was born.

At this point, I handpick each resource myself, create content around it and post it on the website (it is all quite time-consuming).

What is a company the startup looks up to, and why?:

ProductHunt

PH managed to create a great community. If we at KnowledgeHunt can do the same, the project will be highly successful.

The company in four years will be…

A go-to platform for solopreneurs and founders that provides the best-curated content, has a helpful community and free tools to support founders in their early-stage company development.
