9 New Products at Costco in October

Costco shoppers get used to seeking out their old favorites — a juicy rotisserie chicken, a pallet of paper towels, enough coffee to fuel an entire dorm. But because the warehouse club’s selection is so huge, it’s easy to forget that Costco adds new products all the time.

There’s no reason to skip over the classic Costco items, but why not scoop up something new? Here’s a look at some of the items that are new to Costco in October 2022.

They are all available now unless otherwise noted, although some products are sold only online or only in warehouses.

For more Costco news, check out “Costco Just Released Dozens of New Deals for October 2022.”

Shatter-resistant ornaments

The winter holidays will be here soon, so scoop up this set of 12 shatter-resistant indoor/outdoor ornaments now. Each set comes with two of six different styles, and you can choose from green and red, silver and blue, or metallic gold sets. Kids, cats and clumsy adults alike will thank you.

Mikasa dinnerware

Whether you’re looking for a wedding gift or want to freshen your own mealtimes, this Mikasa Mayer 16-piece dinnerware set may be the answer. Select from either blue or gray speckled stoneware dishes. Each set has four place settings consisting of a dinner plate, salad plate, cereal bowl and pasta bowl — and they’re microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

Seaweed snacks

Potato chips are so passe. This 24-pack of Ocean’s Halo seaweed snacks offers 12 wasabi-flavored packages and 12 sea-salt flavored. They’re made with lightly roasted, sustainably harvested seaweed.

Deluxe fruitcake

Fruitcake knows we make jokes about it, but this holiday treat doesn’t care. This large deluxe fruitcake is made by Texas-based Collin Street Bakery. It’s hand-decorated with a sprinkling of pecans and red and green glazed fruit, and it comes packaged in a Texas-themed tin.

Double-sided gift wrap

Stock up now, and you won’t be rushing out to buy gift wrap come December. This six-pack of Kirkland Signature double-sided gift wrap comes with two rolls of three designs, out of a selection of four bright holiday themes.

Ramekin set

Whether you’re making chocolate mousse, creme brulee or just serving up mixed nuts or berries, ramekins always come in handy. This set of eight stoneware ramekins is microwave- and dishwasher-safe, and oven-safe up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Holiday party crackers

Borrow from the British tradition with this set of eight holiday party crackers. You simply pull on the ends and pop them open to reveal a unique gift, such as elegant earrings, tie clips, necklaces, cufflinks and more. They’ll make for a fun stocking stuffer or dinner-party favor.

Ninja mixer system

Stock your kitchen with this Ninja Foodi Power Mixer System, which uses one base and turns into three different appliances — a hand mixer, immersion blender and 3-cup power chopper. The parts are dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup.

War saga

We’ll never run out of World War II stories. In Meg Waite Clayton’s “The Postmistress of Paris,” a beautiful Chicago heiress joins the French Resistance, and finds her life intersecting with that of a photographer and his daughter. The novel was inspired by real events.

The book will be available Oct. 11 in Costco warehouses.
