The Glenmark Life Sciences (GLS) stock gained by Rs 25 or 6.5 per cent to touch Rs 412.5 apiece during the session, before settling with a rise of 4.8 per cent at Rs 406 apiece.
A total of 40,000 Glenmark Life shares changed hands on the bourse on Friday, as against a daily average of 62,000 in the past two weeks, according to provisional exchange data.
